Peach/Cherry Cobbler....

4 lbs. Peaches, peeled, sliced (or canned)
2 Cups Frozen, pitted Sour Cherries
1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
3/4 Cup Sugar
2 tablespoons All-purpose Flour
1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

(1/4 vanilla - option) just gives it a lil something..

Streusel Topping:
2 Cups unsifted all-purpose Flour
1/4 Cup packed Light-Brown Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
3/4 Cup Cold unsalted Butter

Preheat oven to 350°F. Pour boiling water over the peaches and let stand for 1-2 minutes. Peel off the skin and chop into small chunks.
Toss fruits and lemon juice, add mixed sugar, flour and cinnamon to fruit & toss. Make topping by combining dry ingredients with butter. Crumble mixture over fruit. Bake
45 minutes until bubbly and browned.
Makes 12 servings.

We had a bunch of treaters show up last night about 30 minutes later we were out of candy....whew...that we fast

My favorites was a lil girl pirate...oh, she was a cutie!!!  Some neighbors dressed their dogs as they all walked with the kids...one lil guy dog was a bumble bee...lol

All the kids were polite...lots of thank yous...love hearing that!!!

C-boi's team won their game yesterday!!!!  One more win and the conference title is theirs...looking for the 3peat!...fingers crossed....

Nothing new to report...so I better get to reading everyone's Halloween stories....til my next entry....
