got da boot... again

The ankle has decided to be ornery ...I'm wearing Mr Boot again, who knows how long this time.  I'll be going in for a MRI friday, this should give them all the wonderful details, the doc's arent sure if I have a re- fracture, torn ligaments, or if the old RA is just pestering this site. All in all it hurts like a son of a gun, and I want a new model!  The "pedi" doc gave me some powerful meds, usually given to patiences after surgeries, once I pop one of those I'm in lady Gaga land.  I thought I could make it into work tomorrow, but have already reported out.....Speaking of Gaga, I'm heading to Fuzzyhead city and have to make this entry short...


I'll report another update when I come out of the fog..

C-boi & Lil Bit

 

We had a blast with the gf Lil Bit, I just love her to pieces.  She is so right for C-boi.  They cooked dinner for us 2 or 3 nights, I can't remember, but it was pure heaven for me! 

The boy's caught up on their golf games, us girls had a blast getting our nails done, and shopping.  The only glitch we had, was the refrigerator going out.  We got it replaced on Wed.  Love my new "frig"....it has the freezer on the bottom, with a two door open on top.  Nice & wide, tons of room inside.

Since we use a water cooler, I'm please this model does not dispense water & Ice cubes.  It does make the ice cubes, just stores them inside the freezer ...  I have to admit my least favorite thing to purchase is appliances.  I would rather shoot myself in the foot.  lol  Clothes shopping or Jewelry are my fav's!  Who would have guessed...lol 

 

I'm having a difficult time getting "in to" the work mood...I so wish the normal work week was 10 hours, but we get paid for 40.  I just want to relax by the pool, enjoy life a little while...This spring weather is slipping by fast, soon we'll have higher temps with tons of humidity to boot. ugh.  Hubby & I will be celebrating our wedding anniversary next month, I'm not sure if I want to sneak out of town, or just enjoy the beaches offered in our own back yard...decisions, decisions....lol

Speaking of decisions, I've got to plan dinner, since our "chefs" went back to school, time for me to look in the "frig" for a meal...  lol

GATOR!!!!

We arrive at our "swimming" lake to enjoy the day with C-boi & Lil Bit.  A unexpected "visitor" shows himself.   

This was not, I repeat NOT a small animal.  Let me set the stage.

We arrive at a nice picnic/beach area, set up the bbq.  Toss a football back/forth.  Hubby tells Cboi to watch the grill he's going out on the wave runner...I want to go!!!  Hubby is all set, gets on the runner, I meanwhile am searching for the "right" life vest, (the girls were getting in the way Ahem)...ANYWAY, Hubby is idling, as soon as I get the vest on, I turn around to witness Hubby throwing back the throttle on the wave runner....He went out without me......(pause)....HE WENT OUT WITHOUT ME....OH, BOY HE'S IN FOR IT NOW.....  After watching him play for several minutes in the water, he comes ashore,...AHEM for get something or SOMEONE??????  He says, he "thought" I changed my mind, cuz it was taking so long to get a vest....I mention the problem with (the girls)..He being the smart man I married made..NO COMMENT!!!

So, we start to enjoy Cboi's bbq of hotdogs & burgers, settle ourselves down at the beach, when out of the corner of my eye I see....

(me)   Cboi, what the H is that? 

(Cboi without his glasses on) What? Where?

(me) THAT I point, the 10ft thing that is "drifting" into our direction, I know its a Gator.  

(Cboi)  Ma, that aint a Gator...let me get my glasses, it's a piece of wood....

(me) The H it's not...

(Now I must confess, when in a emergency situation I am the last....LAST person, whom to rely on with any form of wisdom.  I panic, I can't think clearly  I react, usually  utter the first thing that comes to mind....With that being said there is no sane reason I have for my next statement...)

(me) Oh sh**, honey there's a gator in the lake,  Get the car keys.....lol

Done laughing yet???  I'll wait.....(Jepardy music)

Ok, yes I admit it was a stupid thing to say.  No I didn't realize the Gator preferred to stay at the edge of the lake to scurry past us....I swear I saw him once or twice say, I want that 50ish looking, overweight mama over there, how am I going to eat her, wait she's looking for the car keys, she might get away from me.....lol

Apparently, when Hubby went out without me....he awoke said giant, this disruption was not taking in kind, so the sleeping giant decided to "show" us his presents, and find another resting place....

meanwhile, after lunch we went out on the wave runner, and had a blast!!!!  

I know, I know....Oi!

Can you believe "Spring" is almost here.....Daylight savings too....Where the heck have I been????  OH that's right WORKING!!!!!!!   Ugh!  lol

CBoi will be here in 2 more days..Yippy!  Along with gf Lil- bit....Yippy!

I'm already pre-stocking the refrigerator, I figure I have at least 3 more trips prior to their arrival.  We are planning a lake day....Going to barrow my sis's jet ski, play on a fresh water lake.  I'll pack a picnic, we'll arrive early have a day of fun in the sun!

 

Cboi & Hubby are planning golf time, I figure that would be a good day for Lil-bit & I to enjoy a spa!  So excited to have "girl" time....never get that living with boys.

 

I went to the RA Dr, said I had some hip pain, told me probably bursitis, gave me meds, no more pain!!!  Yippy.  They did more blood work, I visit again next week.  Guess will re-adjust the current drug cocktail I'm on...Oi!  I found out I'm allergic to pain, so I'll comply. lol

Ok, time to get caught up on cleaning, laundry, etc......

Crackle nails???

I went a lil crazy at the salon the other day....I was rebelling...lol

Painted my nails red, then on top they painted a black crackle....sooo crazy eh?

 

 

 

It's that time of year again...SPRING is approaching, that means Cboi will be visiting soon!!!  This time he will bring his girl friend...I'll call her lil-bit...she's just a tiny thing! Oh my goodness, can't wait to meet her face to face, we've only talked via SKYPE.  Her parents are not real pleased that she's traveling alone with Cboi, all the way to FL.  I can understand, but at some point you just have to put faith in front of fear, it's in the dictionary that way for a reason....lol   She's 20, but I pray that it all works out, and the parents realize they can trust us, & Cboi too...we'll see.

Hubby & I are ready to win the lottery!!!  Anyone else????  Especially with the gas prices increasing so rapidly.  OMGoodness, crazy stuff going on..speaking of crazy....Work has been calm lately??? I don't want to Jinx anything, but people have been somewhat normal.  Customers and workers alike...hum...lol

The "kids" Sylvester, Bentley, & Mercedes have been rumbling & tumbling at my feet, they're normal after dinner play time.  Poor Mercedes has to contend with both boys, but she is able to hold her own...The boys go after her one at a time, she is the usual victor.  The boys rarely go after each other, every once in a while Bentley will lose his mind and attack Sylvester, but it is short lived, Sylvester usually is caught off guard, Bentley rushes pass him, hides until Sylvester forgets that he got hit off guard...

Sylvester is the ALPHA male, he reminds us every day.  I remind him I'm higher on the food chain, with ignoring said demands......some days he accepts this, others he'll come over nip my toe as a reminder ALPHA male speaking.....lol
