Sunday Sayings.....
We cannot direct the wind but we can adjust the sails. Author Unknown
Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else. Judy Garland
Oh, it's been a while my old friend....the days keep running pass me. I hardly the time anymore to journal...
C-boi is hinting he will not be living with us this summer. He has begun to search for jobs in the state where he attends school.....these lil bits of independence are not fun to go thru...One minute your thrilled, the next your heart aches...The worse part is I have forward him emails on prospective job opportunities.....lol..Oi!
Our "season" is slowly coming to an end....whew....
The "Northerners" are returning to their homes, and business is slowing down a bit at work. I actually had time to not only get a lunch, we were able to squeeze in a break as well....Unheard of for the closing crew....
I had only a couple of "meaners" come visit at the service desk.... One was asking directions in the store to a certain department, and berated me that "If I steer him to a wrong location, I was going to hear about it"....I offered him a map to the store, advise him each aisle is labeled, and I had no intention of sending him to a wrong location... This brought on a storm of words , and he hasnt even asked his question yet....so, after the souriful spew (I seem to have "heard" from him anyway) he asked his question....I waited a half a second, then told him to turn around he would find the item behind him.....not EVEN a thank you, he just left the desk.....
The other lady was asking questions about her upcoming delivery & install. I advised her to take up these questions with the Sales person she just left, that I have no idea what was presented to her, if she wanted me to call him/her forward I would do so....Her response, was I should know...so, she asked again....I said excuse me....I called the Sales person, told him his customer had a couple of questions....she flys off the handle ...Why did you do that? I asked you...The Sales team member comes forward, answers her questions again (apparently, she asked the same question 3 or 4 times)...she said she was sorry she bothered him, that she wanted me to answer her question, the Sales member told her, that I would have no clue, cuz I wasnt present in "their " conversation, she still responded with that is not an excuse I should know anyway...humm?
What?...say that again? I guess I missed the orientation on "How to be Psychic"....lol....

Happy Easter ..
AAAAhhhh spring, time for cleaning....Fri I spent most of the time inside the house, while on Saturday, I spent the day cleaning the car, scrubbing from headlight to taillight...then I moved to the lanai, sweeping, rearranging washing everything. I went to hook up the garden hose...and....
Mr Scary Lizard leaps onto the ground, seems he was sunning himself on the garden hose, I disturbed him... eeeekkk....I jump about a mile in the air, then he turns around leaps back on to the hose....eeeekkk......again I jumped, then he leaps off again...makes a mad dash.... runs inside the lanai....AAAAAHHH....STOP STOP STOP...I yell, he turns....eeeekkk....you retched animal leave me alone.. (this was the Lizard thoughts).....He finally scurried off, lept onto the house so he could keep an eye on me....The darn thing was only 4 inches in length, but he almost made me pee my britches....lol pretty excited stuff eh?
Now, time to hunt for those Easter eggs......
