No Boot, No kids, No fun.....

002

Had a Dr's appointment yesterday, he removed da 'BOOT'....but, it could be a temporary thing.  I still have some swelling around one of the tendons, it could be my RA aggravating the area, tho he did toss the idea of surgery....ahhhh (NOT A HUGE FAN).  I informed him, that hubby & I are planning a vacation, we'll be walking ALOT, he grumbled, this is NOT what he would choose to do with this ankle, and to bring the BOOT, walk in that...grumble grumble grumble....I had to giggle after he left the room tho,  I feel it's  MY foot I should be able to do what I would like, he sees this as HIS foot to repair...

The "boys" are living together....excuse me a minute crying fit about to happen AGAIN....

AHEM, ok I'm back..As I was saying earlier. The "boys" are living together.  Cboi found an apartment in his college town, he didnt want to be away from his girlfriend (Lil Bit) for the summer, so he started making arrangements in Dec, he asked if Eldest could come up for the summer, split the rent...Why not I said, it would be good for Eldest to be away, Hubby & I could experience being "EMPTY NESTERS"....NOT A BIG FAN of this by the way....It's only been 4 days, and I want to change my mind....AHHHHH!

Our lil home feels like 10,000 sq ft, so quiet...the 'kids' Sylvester, Bentley, & Mercedes are roaming around to each room, wondering where everyone went???  Tho Mercedes is loving sleeping in Eldest queen size bed by herself....The 1st couple of days I was at work, so it wasnt as lonely...the past two while hubby is at work...hummm that's another story....I need to transition into another routine, keep myself occupied.  We have been married 28 years, 26 of those years have been occupied with children, I know we'll adjust, but about the time we do....Eldest will be back...then what?....LOL

Glad I found it...whew.....

Bookkeeping: Is the recording of financial transactions.

Thought I would share that information.  The past several weeks, I have noticed a significant difference as to our checkbook  vs the online statements from our bank.

A) Problem

Solution:  Figure out problem

The error was the bank recorded MORE money, than I recorded in our checkbook.  While I agree this a GOOD problem to have, needless to say it is still a problem.  Plus, why would I be off a significant amount of money.  So, my 1st solution was to see what checks cleared in the future. ......waiting......
ok, all checks have cleared....now what?  HUM, bank account still reporting more money.....hum, Did I transfer into the checking account?  forget to record it.....NOPE!.....When I balanced last month....wait, did I balance my account last month....(searching...) What?...wait a sec....What??  I didn't balance our account since....February...are you kidding me....I swear I just did.  What in the world....  I have to keep track of Eldest's account (s) as well as our own...I'm responsible for our families financials......Oi!

I can see the old gal's noggin isn't keeping up like she use to, time is creeping up on me. I could multi-task the heck out of our lives,  but more and more I'm finding that it is a struggle to keep all this information in my head.   Time for me to really use this "game box"...(aka desktop computer) and set up calendars, reminders...etc...Now if I can just remember.......lol

Beach BRAH-dah

Awoke early this am, at the beach, by 9:40.  Aint nothing better brah!  Beautiful, cool breeze, no one in sight, left by noon.  Ate lunch at the local beach bar, then came home....ahhhh.  Now that's living!

Cboi should be home by Fri, yippy! Tho it will be a short visit, he is going back to work, he can't be away from Lil Bit too long.  He has a 2 jobs & an apartment too, he is bringing Eldest back with him.  Hubby & I will experience a summer of no kids...WOW.  I'm not sure if we know what to do with ourselves.

Cboi is entering his senior year...unbelievable eh?  Tho he is hinting that grad school is a possibility...AMAZING!  I would have never thought this when he was in middle & high school.

later cats!
